I come from a long line of fisherman. Several generations of my family have fished the Pacific coast from Alaska to Oregon; so, I know a good boat when I see one and the Molly Sparks is one of the finest examples of a Wahl Brothers built fishing Troller. When I found her over 20 years ago in Stella, WA, I made a commitment to restore her and not compromise on quality. This is not a yacht, though some may think so because of her fit and finish; but, a true "working boat" that her next captain and crew can trust in seas to produce a day's haul. After 20 years, over $750,000 and thousands of hours of my labor I am selling her. I reallize my asking price is high when compared to other trollers, but, take a careful look at her starting with this website and I believe you'll come to realize it is a fair price if not a deal.

This website is a work in progress and will continue to grow as we add content and refinements so that it adequately presents the Molly Sparks. It currently includes a detailed list of Specifications, lots of Photographs, a detailed description of the Restoration; and eventually, a history of the this vessel, her former life and the legacy of the Wahl Troller.
